This photo was from an inversion day last February, when the entire Flathead Valley was in fog, but we skied that day in the sunshine, starting and finishing our day by Jesus.  The statue of Jesus is near the top of chair two and is a memorial erected after World War II to honor soldiers who died fighting Hitler’s forces in the Alps of Italy.

This painting is of a favorite spot in Glacier National Park, McDonald Falls!  No matter the time of year the turquoise color of the glacial runoff comes pounding over the rocks to create a mesmerizing scene one can watch from an easily accessed footbridge.   This painting captures the waterfall nestled in its ancient mountains and mature forest surround.
