BIOGRAPHY

Starting at a young age my mother encouraged us to make messes and explore our hearts. As a result, my siblings and I are creative in our own unique way.

I spent my young adult years pursuing art and education degrees to include a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Masters of Education.  Starting a career in Secondary Education eventually led to branching out on my own teaching workshops for aspiring hobbyists and professional artists alike.

Residing in two different countries and ten states give me a wide range of experiences to draw from.  Painting  in Giverny, Auvers-sur-Oise in France, San Miguel de Allende in Mexico, Killarney in Canada, Chios, Greece, Glacier National Park, and many other regions has been some of the highlights of my life.

Commissions inspire  me to approach the unknown with a sense of adventure and an opportunity to push past any fear that may arise. Through these challenges, I learned that scaling a twelve-inch painting into a five-foot square image, uncovered my enthusiasm for working large.

No subject is off limits for inspiration.
