6 Speaking of "rabbit trails," I am like Oliver on the scent of a chipmunk or my father grabbing a volume of the encyclopedia to "look it up." These days of long adventures learning all about octopus or long-eared owls, Wilson's Warblers and mountain goats led to the "Etcetera" tab. Did you know Octopi can be as tiny as a golf ball and deadly poisonous or huge enough to kill and eat a shark? Did you know they have a beak? Did you know their ink is in the three primary colors, and they can squirt it to indicate their image where they are not?
